Collect in the leaves from the lawn like left they block out light to your grass but will eventually deteriorate turf and transform yellow. Paths and steps should be kept leaf-free as right after they are wet there's the risk of slipping. Fallen leaves may be left with borders but once they are obstructing silver-leaved bushes or rockery plants, knock them off to lessen any probability of rot across winter.
