For more than 40 years, George J. Simchuk has held a wide range of engineering, managerial, and executive roles in the United States mining industry and abroad. From January 2005 through September 2006, George J. Simchuk served as General Manager for Glamis Gold Ltd. at the El Sauzal Mine in Mexico, where he helped to effect a massive turnaround in the mine’s efficiency and profitability.
